Integration of NAGRA’s content protection solution and Codespot’s Android TV middleware products provides an easy path to deploy Android TV operator-tier set-top boxes in pay-TV operators’ networks.
Codespot has integrated its Android TV middleware platform with NAGRA’s market-leading content protection solutions. This jointly integrated product will be deployed by the Polish cable operator TOYA later this year. The platform will give TOYA’s subscribers secure access to the operator’s existing video services such as Linear TV, video-on demand and catch-up TV and will also provide access to third-party Over-the-top (OTT) video streaming services.
We are delighted to be cooperating with video security solutions market leader NAGRA and pay-TV operator, TOYA, who can now deploy Android TV in their networks and take advantage of the platform benefits - said Jakub Górski, co-founder of Codespot.
An Android TV operator-tier platform is now a clear choice for video operators wishing to deploy new set-top boxes in their network. Working with Codespot we are continuing to offer new ways operators can deploy secure and innovative Android TV products - said Tim Pearson, Vice President Global Solution Marketing at NAGRA.
